About Tacoma H.O.G. #5380

The Tacoma Washington Chapter was established in October of 1987 by the Tacoma Harley Davidson dealership owned by Dave and Marge Anderson. Chapter membership grew to 43 members in the first year. Membership doubled the following year and continued to grow. By the end of 1994 we had approximately 400 members. In June 1995, Ed Wallace Sr. and Dan Dryer purchased the dealership and changed the name to Destination Harley-Davidson LLC.

In 1996 Destination Harley-Davidson offered everyone who purchased a new motorcycle from the dealer, a one-year membership Tacoma HOG. Our membership count soared. In 1999, Ed Wallace Sr. bought out Dan Dryer and was our sponsoring owner until he retired in 2005 and sold the dealership to his son Ed Wallace Jr. Ed Wallace Jr. continues the traditions his father started and continues to be our chapters sponsor. Currently Tacoma HOG is the second largest HOG Chapter on the west coast.

We host three community events every year; riding out to the Orting Soldiers Home and helping the residents with their annual Fishing Derby. We also visit the Tacoma Phoenix House deliver Easter baskets and Christmas gifts to sponsored families.

Currently Tacoma H.O.G. has over 700 memners and we average over 50 rides & events each year!
