Meet at Destination Harley / Check In @ 8am / KU @ 8:30

Spend a great day with Assistant Director, Wayne Parker, as he heads up the 1st Annual HAMROD Ride and Poker Run. All Participants will receive a custom Patch and year rocker. We will leave Destination Harley at 8:30am and make our way out to our first stop for gas and Poker draw in Greenwater. From there we will Ride out to the Sunrise Visitor Center for a photo and snack break. We will then head back to Hwy 410 and head south, turn onto Hwy 123 and enter Mt Rainier National Park through the Stevens Canyon Entrance. After paying the National Park Fee we will head up to Paradise and make a stop at the Henry M. Jackson Visitor Center for another photo and snack break. From Paradise, we will then head west through the Park to Elbe for a gas break before heading back to Destination HD for our last poker Draw.

Note: Mt. Rainier National Park does require fees to enter. There are 4 options:

  • A 7-day consecutive pass for motorcycles is $25
  • An Annual Olympic National Park Pass is $55 and good for the entire year
  • An Annual US National Park Pass is $80 and is good at all US Parks for a year.
  • Active Military or Veterans are free. Bring your VA/Military ID with you.

Destination HD to Enumclaw Safeway 26 miles, 50-minute ride (Gas Stop and Poker Draw)

Enumclaw to Sunrise Lodge 53 miles, 2 hr ride (Photos, food stop, and Poker Draw)

Sunrise to Paradise Lodge 51 miles, 2hr 20 min ride (Photos, food stop, and Poker Draw)

Paradise to Elbe 32 miles, 1hr ride (Gas Stop and Poker Draw)

Elbe to Destination HD 43 miles, 1hr 15 min (Final Poker Draw)

Back to Shop around 5:00pm

Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member.  All guests must sign an event release. Be aware, all rides and events are subject to change or cancellation due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.

Impairment Policy: The consumption and use of alcohol is a serious personal responsibility involving the safety of family, riding friends and the individual HOG member. Alcohol consumption before or during a motorcycling activity is not safe, responsible behavior. Tacoma Washington Chapter #5380 does not allow the use of alcohol or drugs before or during a riding event* and does not furnish alcohol at Chapter rides. Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or drugs before riding cannot join the ride. Riders using alcohol or drugs while riding will be asked to leave the ride. It is the responsibility of each Template Chapter member to support the consistent enforcement of this policy

Photography Policy: Photographing, filming, recording and videotaping of activities and events will be occurring Tacoma Washington Chapter events. By entering the H.O.G.® event area, you irrevocably grant permission to the Harley-Davidson Motor Company® and its agents to photograph, film, record and/or videotape you and use (and authorize the use of) your name, image, likeness, voice, and/or biographical or other information in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed in perpetuity for any and all purposes.
